WordPress Website Developer (Freelance, Project-Based)

We are looking for a reliable WordPress Website Developer (Freelance, Project-Based) to support our team as a backup resource, handling WordPress projects as needed. This role is project-based, with compensation agreed upon according to the scope and complexity of each assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites on a project basis
• Build and customize WordPress pages using themes and page builders
• Customize existing themes and implement layout and content changes
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Optimize website performance, stability, and basic security
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve WordPress-related issues
• Manage updates, backups, and routine maintenance when required
• Follow provided guidelines, designs, and technical instructions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
• Solid knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project specifications
• Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines

Working Model & Compensation

• Backup / on-demand role
• Projects assigned based on workload and availability
• Compensation defined per project, according to scope and complexity
• Flexible collaboration with no fixed monthly commitment

Nice to Have

• Experience with WooCommerce
• Familiarity with performance optimization best practices
• Basic understanding of SEO and UX principles
