Job Role: WordPress Website Designer

Compensation range: $2,500 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: A boutique digital marketing agency specialising in premium website design, SEO, and online advertising for Australian service-based businesses. The team focuses on building modern, high-performing websites designed to convert and achieve strong search engine visibility.

Role Overview: We’re now looking for a Website Designer who can bring design ideas to life through modern, SEO-friendly WordPress builds. You’ll be working directly with the Director on projects ranging from SEO, landing pages to small to national websites, creating sites that look beautiful and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities: 

You’ll be responsible for:

• Designing and building custom websites in WordPress (Elementor or similar visual builders)
• Creating visually stunning, user-friendly, mobile-first designs
• Implementing modern 
• Implementing SEO best practices
• Collaborating on structure, layout, and content flow to optimise conversions
• Uploading and styling content, images, and forms with consistency and polish
  Testing across devices and browsers to ensure smooth performance
• Delivering projects on time and maintaining excellent communication

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of proven experience designing and building custom WordPress websites
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and site structure 
• Eye for clean, modern, high-end design that reflects each brand’s identity
• Business first mentality
