We’re hiring a WordPress Developer for a short-term contract to support web development projects including landing pages, templates, and ongoing site improvements. You’ll work closely with our design and marketing team to bring ideas to life quickly and cleanly.
This is a 3-month hybrid contract based out of our Vancouver office, with the potential to extend.
What You’ll Do
- Build and update WordPress websites, templates, and landing pages
- Write clean, responsive code using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
- Work with marketing and design to implement campaigns and design mockups
- Handle basic troubleshooting, plugin management, and performance fixes
- Maintain cross-browser and mobile compatibility
- Develop an onsite linking strategy to creates conversion paths.
- Optimize and keep on-page SEO
- Report on Page Performance Using Google Analytics
- Share insights on potential
Requirements
- Solid experience building and customizing WordPress sites (2+ years preferred)
- Comfortable with PHP, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO and performance optimization techniques
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with designers and marketers
- Experience with Git is a plus
