About Us
ShiftCare is Australia’s #1 care management platform, trusted by over 5,500 providers and 150,000+ carers globally. We help care businesses spend less time on admin and more time with their clients. Now, we’re scaling fast, and we need a talented writer to help tell our story and drive real results.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly capable WordPress Developer & Web Project Manager to lead a complete rebuild of our website, from technical development to stakeholder coordination. You’ll manage the full migration from our existing static stack to a fast, SEO-optimised, scalable WordPress site, then stay on to maintain and improve it over time.

This is a remote role based in the Philippines, perfect for someone who’s both hands-on with code and confident leading delivery. You’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing and collaborate with content, design, and SEO specialists to deliver a high-performance website that scales with our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full migration from our static Systemic site to a dynamic WordPress CMS
  • Build custom front ends, mobile-first layouts, reusable templates and CMS blocks
  • Maintain existing SEO value: URL structure, tags, redirects, meta data, schema
  • Translate Figma designs into clean, responsive front-end builds
  • Set up integrations: HubSpot, Hotjar, Google Tag Manager, and GA4
  • Optimise for performance (Core Web Vitals), mobile responsiveness, and accessibility
  • Collaborate across SEO, design, and content to deliver a consistent experience
  • Own publishing and updates in WordPress post-launch (new pages, landing pages, blogs)
  • Maintain CMS structure, templates, plugins, and site security
  • Run A/B tests and heatmap tracking with Hotjar and GA4

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in WordPress development and CMS builds
  • Proven delivery of content-rich, high-traffic websites (2,000+ users/month, 300+ pages)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiarity with PHP/MySQL
  • Experience with SEO fundamentals and structured data/schema implementation
  • Confidence managing migration plans, stakeholders, QA and technical SEO
  • Familiar with Google Tag Manager, GA4 and Hotjar setup
  • Experience integrating HubSpot forms, CTAs and tracking tools into WordPress
  • Excellent English communication and remote collaboration skills
  • Highly organised, self-directed and deadline-driven
