Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented WordPress & Social Media Executive to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role is perfect for someone with foundational experience in content management, social media marketing, and SEO who wants to grow their skills while maintaining work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Website Management:

  • Upload and format content including blog posts, pages, images, and multimedia
  • Maintain website functionality and ensure optimal user experience
  • Update plugins, themes, and perform routine website maintenance
  • Implement basic on-page SEO best practices
  • Monitor website performance and loading speeds

Social Media Management:

  • Create and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms
  • Upload and optimize images, videos, and graphics for different platforms
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity
  • Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments/messages
  • Track social media metrics and prepare basic performance reports

SEO Optimization:

  • Research and implement relevant keywords in website content
  • Optimize meta titles, descriptions, and alt tags
  • Create SEO-friendly URL structures
  • Monitor search engine rankings and traffic
  • Assist with link building and content optimization strategies

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience with WordPress content management
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Familiarity with content scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
