Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented WordPress & Social Media Executive to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role is perfect for someone with foundational experience in content management, social media marketing, and SEO who wants to grow their skills while maintaining work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
WordPress Website Management:
- Upload and format content including blog posts, pages, images, and multimedia
- Maintain website functionality and ensure optimal user experience
- Update plugins, themes, and perform routine website maintenance
- Implement basic on-page SEO best practices
- Monitor website performance and loading speeds
Social Media Management:
- Create and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms
- Upload and optimize images, videos, and graphics for different platforms
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments/messages
- Track social media metrics and prepare basic performance reports
SEO Optimization:
- Research and implement relevant keywords in website content
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, and alt tags
- Create SEO-friendly URL structures
- Monitor search engine rankings and traffic
- Assist with link building and content optimization strategies
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience with WordPress content management
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Familiarity with content scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
