As a Web Developer / Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to customers, helping resolve their issues while also working on the development and maintenance of our SaaS product. This role will have a dual focus, requiring you to troubleshoot user issues as well as improve and extend the functionality of our platform using Laravel and Vue.js.
Responsibilities:- Provide first-line technical support for users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to our Rock of Eye SaaS platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues..
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and fix bugs, ensuring smooth platform performance.
- Assist with feature updates and testing, improving user experience and product functionality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of common support issues, resolutions, and product updates.
- Communicate with customers via email, chat, and support tickets to provide clear, helpful guidance.
- Manage version control using GitHub, collaborating on platform improvements
To be successful in this role, you will have: - Proven experience as a Web Developer, with strong skills in Laravel and Vue.js.
- Experience in help desk or technical support, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Knowledge of AWS is highly regarded.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with GitHub for version control.
- Ability to multitask between support tasks and development work, managing priorities effectively
