Job Description

Polygon Technology is seeking a smart and proactive Software Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in Spring Boot and 1–2 years of experience in Laravel. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills and the ability to contribute across multiple projects in a fast-paced tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Spring Boot and Laravel.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

• Design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.

• Optimize application performance, security, and responsiveness.

• Troubleshoot and debug production issues with a problem-solving mindset.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Stay updated with new technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Spring Boot (Java).

• 1–2 years of practical experience with Laravel (PHP).

• Good understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful API design.

• Experience working with MySQL/PostgreSQL, version control systems like Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Smart, self-motivated, and proactive in taking ownership of tasks.

• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred.
