Senior WordPress Web Designer / Developer

We’re looking for a creative and technically skilled WordPress Web Designer / Developer to join our growing marketing team. 

You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining pages across our suite of WordPress websites. This role involves a balance of design aesthetics, front-end development, and a strong understanding of modern WordPress workflows.



You’ll work closely with marketing, content, and design teams to deliver pages that look beautiful, perform well, and support our broader business goals.

Day to Day You Will

• Design, build, and update pages using Breakdance page builder within WordPress.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketers to bring ideas to life across various websites.
• Maintain and optimize existing WordPress sites hosted on WPEngine for performance, accessibility, SEO, and responsiveness.
• Implement tracking tags, conversion pixels, and custom scripts when needed.
• Assist with A/B testing, UX experiments, and CRO implementations.
• Troubleshoot bugs and provide technical support across marketing sites.
• Stay up to date with the latest web design trends, plugins, and WordPress best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing WordPress websites.
• Proven experience with Breakdance (or similar visual builders like Elementor, Oxygen, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, basic PHP, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in either Adobe or Affinity suites
• Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and admin management.
• Experience working with WPEngine or similar managed WordPress hosting providers.
• Understanding of on-page SEO, site speed optimization, and responsive design.
• Basic familiarity with tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and HubSpot or Pardot integrations is a plus.
• Comfortable using version control systems like Git is a bonus
