As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will:
- Lead the projects, development and delivery of complex WordPress and PHP projects.
- Architect and design scalable, high-performing web applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure security, stability, and performance in all WordPress applications.
- Provide key insights and recommendations on technology direction.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex backend and full-stack issues.
- Optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated on WordPress and PHP technologies and integrate new tools as needed.
- Define and uphold best coding practices and development standards.
- Guide project planning, lead technical discussions, and ensure timely delivery.
- Work on integrations between WordPress websites and email marketing platforms.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Deep expertise in PHP and frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
- Solid front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React.
- Strong experience with MySQL database management and performance tuning.
- Practical knowledge of integrating newsletters into WordPress websites.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and serverless architecture.
- Expertise in implementing security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience building APIs and working in a microservices architecture.
- Proven ability to enforce coding standards and lead code reviews.
- Strong project management and Agile experience.
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills.
