helloassist is looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to drive advanced SEO strategies and lead optimization efforts for our clients. You’ll be responsible for executing high-level SEO initiatives, conducting in-depth technical audits, and managing both on-page and off-page SEO to maximize search visibility. 

This role requires a data-driven professional with deep expertise in search engine algorithms, keyword research, and site optimization. You’ll collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure best practices are implemented across all digital assets.

Results We Expect:

Your Responsibilities:

On-Page SEO & Technical Optimization
  • Perform comprehensive SEO audits and collaborate with web developers to enhance site health, loading speed, and overall SEO performance across multiple websites.
  • Design and execute strategies to boost organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Conduct advanced keyword research to refine content strategies and marketing efforts.
  • Work closely with content teams to optimize blog posts, landing pages, and website copy for search engines while ensuring brand consistency and readability.
  • Implement and manage structured data (Schema Markup) to improve search visibility.
  • Write and refine metadata, headlines, and other essential SEO elements for greater impact.
  • Monitor and address crawl errors, indexing issues, and Core Web Vitals to maintain strong technical SEO.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building
  • Develop and implement scalable link-building strategies to strengthen domain authority.
  • Identify and acquire high-quality backlinks through guest posting, partnerships, and targeted outreach.
  • Work with content teams to create compelling assets that naturally attract authoritative links.

Local SEO Optimization
  • Manage and enhance Google My Business (GMB) profiles and other local directory listings.
  • Monitor and engage with online reviews to support strong local SEO performance.

Reporting & Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth competitor research to uncover strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to gain a competitive edge.
  • Track and analyze SEO metrics, including keyword rankings, traffic trends, and backlink profiles.
  • Stay informed about search engine algorithm updates and recommend data-driven strategy adjustments.
  • Diagnose website performance issues and implement optimizations based on analytical insights.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 3 years in a dedicated SEO role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing large-scale e-commerce or high-traffic websites
  • Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, indexability, crawling, and ranking factors
  • Has experience with Schema Markups for SEO optimization
  • Has experience with SEMrush as the primary SEO tool
  • Has experience with ChatGPT as the main AI tool for SEO strategies
  • Strong experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Microsoft Bing Webmaster Tools, and Google Data Studio
  • Working knowledge of HTML & CSS to troubleshoot and implement SEO recommendations
  • Experience optimizing for Core Web Vitals and technical SEO best practices
  • Ability to translate complex SEO data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
  • Strong process adherence—follows structured workflows and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with developers, writers, and marketing teams
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • EST shift availability to serve international clients

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in supporting E-Commerce/Beauty Industry
  • Experience in local SEO, including reputation management and citation building
  • Previous experience working with agencies or multiple clients
  • Experience optimizing WordPress websites and implementing SEO best practices
  • Strong understanding of high-quality vs. low-quality backlinks and link-building best practices
