About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team. You will work on architecting, building, and scaling modern applications within the Laravel ecosystem. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Eloquent ORM, queues, microservices architecture, and deploying applications using Kubernetes. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership and driving technical solutions forward.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP applications using Laravel.

Architect efficient Eloquent models and manage complex database structures.

Implement and optimize queue-based background processing.

Build and maintain microservices to support distributed system architectures.

Lead the deployment, scaling, and maintenance of Kubernetes-based application environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Frontend, and Product Management.

Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and enforce best development practices.

Diagnose issues across the entire stack and propose robust solutions.

Requirements:

6+ years of professional PHP development experience.

Expert-level proficiency with Laravel and the broader Laravel ecosystem.

Deep understanding of Eloquent ORM, advanced querying, and database design.

Strong experience with queue systems (Laravel Queues, Horizon, Redis queues).

Proven experience designing and maintaining microservices and APIs.

Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes clusters.

Solid background with containerization tools (Docker) and CI/CD workflows.

Strong command of MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, and caching strategies.

Commitment to writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code following SOLID principles.

Experience with Git-based version control workflows.

Nice to Have:

Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and CQRS patterns.

Experience with event-driven architecture and tools like Kafka.
