Senior PHP Full Stack Engineer - PHP Developer Careers

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative development team. You will primarily work with PHP, JavaScript, and React to develop and maintain our products, helping modernize our front-end while supporting existing backend systems. If you're excited about taking on challenges, working with a global team, and building scalable systems, this is the role for you. <h2>Key Responsabilities </h2> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Work on both the front-end and back-end of our online casino platform, collaborating with a team of developers and other stakeholders.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Build and enhance features using React and JavaScript on the front-end while utilizing PHP (Symfony ) on the back-end.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Integrate front-end components with microservices built in Node.js and help modernize legacy systems.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Implement unit testing with PHPUnit for back-end services and Jest for front-end testing.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of high-performance, highly available systems.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Collaborate with a cross-functional team (including DevOps, QA, and other developers) to ensure product quality and timely delivery.</li></ul> <h2>Requirements:  </h2> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end technologies.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Strong knowledge of PHP (preferably Symfony or Laravel).</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Proficiency in JavaScript (React is a plus but not mandatory).</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience with unit testing frameworks like PHPUnit and Jest.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Familiarity with Node.js for building microservices is a bonus.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Solid understanding of REST APIs and system design.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Passion for coding and modernizing software applications.</li></ul><div class="p-rich_text_section"> </div><h2>Nice To Have:  </h2> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience with Rust is a plus.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Experience with React.js.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and cloud infrastructure.</li><li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Strong communication skills in English.</li></ul> <h2>Who We Are</h2>Betsson Group is one of the largest companies within the Global iGaming space and can trace our heritage as far back as the 1960’s.
