PRIORITY, one of the largest and fastest growing Management and IT consulting firms in Greece is currently seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Principal Laravel Engineer on behalf of a valued client in the field of cybersecurity.

Please note that this is a fully remote opportunity, and we welcome candidates from anywhere in Europe.

This role is for a Principal Laravel Engineer who will lead the evolution of our automated cybersecurity platform. You will design and develop advanced Laravel-based systems while ensuring architectural excellence. The position also involves integrating state-of-the-art AI models across the platform lifecycle to enhance automation, detection, and intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously optimize the platform leveraging Laravel best practices to ensure high performance and scalability.
  • Oversee all stages of the development process, including concept, deployment, and post-launch improvements.
  • Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
  • Use test-driven development (TDD) methodologies to ensure code quality and platform performance.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Work closely with the product team to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products leveraging Laravel framework.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in Laravel framework.
  • Experience with Vue.js is considered a strong plus.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Hands-on experience integrating or working with AI/LLM models.
  • Solid understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable backend design.
  • Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, and security best practices.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and continuous integration.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
