Job Description: PHP Web Developer
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP Web Developer with strong backend or LAMP Stack development expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building robust, scalable, and secure web applications and a proven track record of working across the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications and APIs using PHP and the LAMP stack.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and project managers, to deliver seamless and user-friendly solutions.
Design and implement database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure the integrity and security of application data.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and performance bottlenecks.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments to ensure a high-quality product.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in web development to improve processes and implement innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in PHP and extensive experience with backend development.
Solid understanding of the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and its configuration and optimization.
Experience working with relational databases, including database design and performance tuning.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their interaction with backend systems.
Proficient understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
Understanding of security principles and best practices in web application development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
