TeleSoftas is looking for a skilled PHP Engineer to become a vital part of our vibrant team.

In this role, you will collaborate with Our client Kurt König - a major construction tools and vehicles seller in the European market. The goal of the still ongoing project is the digitalization of business processes inside the Kurt König Group. Our central task is to build custom software that connects all technical systems used by the group into one infrastructure and allows employees and customers to seamlessly perform their daily operations. With the project, the company sought to solve several key challenges: unlocking digital sales channels, centralizing business processes, and increasing operational efficiency.

Challenges You’ll Tackle:

  • Work independently on medium-complexity tasks
  • Review, estimate, and split feature requirements into lower-complexity tasks
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code to implement server-side functionality
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of backend systems, considering scalability and maintainability
  • Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy, including integration and end-to-end testing
  • Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to team guidelines
  • Assist in creating and maintaining documentation
  • Communicate technical decisions to stakeholders when needed

Requirements

The Skills for Success:

  • 2-3 years related work experience
  • Strong PHP Knowledge: OOP & Design Patterns
  • Experience with Symfony Framework
  • Proficiency in SQL & Database Management
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs (bonus points for GraphQL)
  • Experience with version control system - Git
  • Experience with unit and integration testing (PHP Unit, bonus points for Behat)
  • Fluent English language skills (bonus points for German language skills)

Nice to have:

  • Authentication methods like JWT, OAuth, and API tokens
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and Workflows
  • Experience with Docker
  • Familiarity with AWS (SQS, S3, RDS, and other services)
  • Understanding of Kubernetes-based deployments
