Job Description

• Building and maintaining internal and external facing web applications
• Working with developers, business analyst, QA, team-lead and business resources to design, develop and maintain web applications
• Developing user-facing elements
• Development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules

Qualifications

• Previous work experience from 2 to 5 years
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Experience with web hosting and hosting technologies
• Proficiency in PHP
• Experience with MySQL and Apache
• Experience with MVC frameworks
• Knowledge in using JS/JQuery/HTML/CSS.
• Experience in working with Ajax.

• Work Knowledge: possesses and applies knowledge or skills necessary for task completion. Keeps current on new development in area of work.
• Communication: The ability to maintain open and effective communications with all employees, using clear and concise written and verbal communications
• Problem Solving: The ability to analyse, identify problems, and understand the cause of the problem; and to develop realistic alternative solutions or recommendations for corrective actions
