Job Description

As a PHP Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain PHP-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize code, implement new features, and integrate legacy systems—ensuring healthcare solutions run efficiently and meet evolving standards.

• Design, code, and maintain PHP applications for healthcare systems
  
• Maintain and enhance existing systems to meet NHS standards
  
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
  
• Collaborate with developers to implement new features and system enhancements
  
• Optimize and refactor legacy code for performance and security
  
• Design and implement integration solutions for legacy and modern systems
  
• Document legacy systems and new developments thoroughly
  
• Provide technical support for live deployments as needed

Requirements

You Will Have Experience In:

• Having at least two years of experience in PHP-based software engineering roles
  
• Demonstrating expertise in core PHP development
  
• Working with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React
  
• Designing databases and being proficient in SQL
  
• Collaborating on both independent and team-based software engineering projects
  
• Utilizing technologies such as:
  

• PHP
  
• SQL (preferably PostgreSQL)

• JavaScript
  

• Working in an agile development environment
  
• Learning new skills or programming languages based on business needs
