Flexibility for occasional additional hours (OT payable), peak-seasons and full-day (8 hours) on Mondays when needed

Are you an experienced Magento Consultant with a passion for driving digital innovation in e-commerce? We have an exciting freelance opportunity for you to join our team and make an impact on Adobe e-commerce projects across the APAC region. In this role, you will report to the APAC Managing Director and work closely with our Managed Services team to deliver world-class e-commerce solutions and identify new business opportunities.
Role Overview:
As a Magento Consultant, you will take the lead in scoping, architecting, and delivering Adobe e-commerce solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in providing technical insights, supporting day-to-day operations, and ensuring excellence in every project.
Main Responsibilities:
- Apply consulting methodologies to manage Adobe e-commerce projects effectively.
- Conduct scoping activities to gather and analyze requirements, identifying key business drivers.
- Manage project estimations, risk assessment, and handle project commercials (forecasting, time management, invoicing).
- Architect, design, and implement solutions using Adobe AEM modules and Magento.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, delivering actionable technical solutions.
- Create and integrate content and experience-driven e-commerce on Adobe Experience Cloud.
- Define best practices and implementation processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring high-quality implementation.
- Administer user permissions, groups, and roles within Adobe Commerce.
- Assist users with day-to-day inquiries, bug fixes, and minor platform issues.
- Document all project activities comprehensively.
- Support agile deployment of new features and enhancements.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe e-commerce solutions.
- Deep expertise in the Adobe Commerce ecosystem, specifically in Magento Commerce, Magento Order Management, and Adobe Experience Manager.
- Adobe Commerce (Magento) certification is mandatory, with at least 2 certifications.
- Proven experience in Adobe e-commerce solution administration and incident management.
- Proficient in using Jira or similar ticketing tools.
- Strong facilitation skills for leading meetings and workshops with business users.
- Highly adaptable to changing environments, challenges, and diverse stakeholders.
- A passion for digital innovation and technological advancements in e-commerce.
