Position Summary


The Full Stack Web Developer provides our client service team with expert support in web languages and server management. They demonstrate a skilled understanding of front-end design, back-end development, and the systems that go into building, migrating, and maintaining a website. They understand our holistic marketing approach, and they communicate and collaborate well with other technical team members to deliver a complete product. They complete large-scope and small-scale projects with the support of associates. They work in a task-oriented manner to complete and manage projects.


Their work has a measurable impact on visitor behavior, conversion, site ranking, site performance, and business integrations with their website. They have a strong understanding of common integrations, especially with Google products (Analytics, reCaptcha, Tag Manager, Search Console, Ads, etc) and other ads platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Bing. They have a solid understanding of common CMS platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce, and they are knowledgeable with restful API architecture used in most CMS platforms. They can read and author code in a variety of languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL. They’re familiar with LAMP stack technologies, common build tools like Node and Composer, and are comfortable in the command line/terminal.

  • Pay range monthly: $2000 - $2500 USD
  • Location: Remote-Philippines (100% Work From Home)
  • Work Schedule: 8AM to 5PM Central Standard Time
  • Employment Type: Independent Contractor (40 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize databases (primarily MySQL) to ensure site performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Enhance website performance, ensuring speed, security, and efficiency across multiple WordPress websites.
  • Create and maintain API integrations for third-party services and custom applications.
  • Manage server environments, including website deployment, backups, and hosting configurations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot site issues, including bugs, performance problems, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Write efficient, well-documented PHP code following best practices.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot WordPress queries for improved performance.
  • Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes tailored to client requirements.
  • Ensure that all web applications adhere to modern security and data protection standards.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, WordPress updates, and industry trends.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a web-design and development professional with a strong focus on WordPress and examples of work.
  • Proficiency in PHP, specifically as it relates to WordPress development.
  • Solid experience with MySQL and database management.
  • Experience in custom plugin development and API integrations.
  • Understanding of server-side technologies, including Linux, Apache, and NGINX.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of website performance optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage WordPress security, including vulnerability scanning and patching.
  • Experience in server management and deployment processes.


Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and SEO tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting environments like AWS, Google Cloud, or DigitalOcean.
  • Basic front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support full-stack workflows.
