About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled WordPress Website Developer to support our team on a freelance basis. You’ll be responsible for building, customising, and optimising WordPress websites that are fast, functional, and aligned with client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customise WordPress websites (themes, plugins, integrations).
  

• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  

• Optimise website performance, speed, and security.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  

• Collaborate with the design and content team to bring projects to life.
  

• Provide technical input on website structure and user experience.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio required).
  

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  

• Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
  

• Ability to customise and build plugins/themes as needed.
  

• Understanding of SEO best practices and analytics tools.
  

• Familiarity with version control (Git) is an advantage.
  

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
