Job Description:
We’re seeking a motivated Drupal Developer to join our Enterprise Solutions team and support our Practice Website Platform initiative – building scalable, template-based websites for oncology practices using Drupal multisite or Acquia Site Factory.
You’ll partner with a third-party vendor leading the platform build, providing technical input and feedback throughout the project. Post-launch, you’ll take ownership of maintenance, enhancements, onboarding new practices, and ensuring long-term platform success.
Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years of Drupal development experience and are confident working independently. You’ll play a key role in shaping the product and technology roadmap and contributing to a critical platform that supports local branding with enterprise standards.
This is an onsite role in Nashville, TN / hybrid preferred. Open to remote for highly qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
Support, manage, and extend Drupal websites within a multisite or Acquia Site Factory environment, including overseeing development, staging, and production environments and coordinating the release schedule
Participate in the build phase with external developers, providing insight, contributing to platform development and architectural decisions (e.g., Acquia Site Factory vs. Drupal Multisite), and offering feedback as part of the core project team
Implement custom Drupal modules and themes as needed, and translate design mockups into accessible, performant, and responsive web experiences that empower non-technical users to manage content
Configure and manage content types, taxonomies, views, blocks, and user roles/permissions to support both front-end functionality and administrative needs
Ensure all sites meet SEO and page performance standards
Implement third-party tools such as Formsort and other plug-ins or integrations as needed
Apply HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end enhancements and customizations
Work with product, design, and stakeholder teams to scope and deliver new functionality
Collaborate with vendors, internal developers, and cross-functional teams for implementation and support
Participate in light DevOps and deployment tasks where needed
Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and long-term platform scalability
Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
