This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-load, large-scale platform where your contributions directly influence product performance and user experience. As a Backend Engineer, you will design and implement new backend solutions, integrate payment services, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize system reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and QA to deliver end-to-end feature improvements while maintaining high-quality standards.   • Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, with a focus on PHP and modern frameworks such as Laravel.
  • Integrate with external billing and payment services, ensuring reliable and secure transaction processing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within payment flows and other backend systems.
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Implement automated testing and CI/CD processes to maintain high code quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end feature improvements and product innovations.

  • Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PHP and frameworks like Laravel.
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Git version control and Docker.
  • Experience writing tests and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to decompose complex tasks, estimate effort, and manage priorities effectively.
  • Self-driven engineer capable of delivering end-to-end features independently.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with payment systems, Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD), and GitHub Actions.
