Associate Software Engineer (PHP) - PHP Developer Careers

Job Overview :

We are seeking talented and motivated PHP Engineers at multiple levels—Associate, Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer—to contribute to the development and maintenance of dynamic web applications. The ideal candidates will have a passion for coding and a strong foundation in PHP development, with responsibilities and expectations scaled appropriately to the level of experience.

Responsibility:

Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using PHP.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to implement new features and resolve issues.
Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve coding skills.
Debug and troubleshoot basic technical issues with the support of senior developers.
Contribute to the optimization of applications for speed and scalability.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance learning and skill development.
Support the development team in various stages of the software development lifecycle.
Document-oriented development process.
Understanding modular programming techniques.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic understanding of PHP and its frameworks
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Exposure to database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Willingness to learn version control systems, especially Git.
Basic problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of basic web security principles and performance optimization.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
